Accenture Sets up Cyber Security Centre

The cyber security centre will help the firm expand its global security presence.

BENGALURU: Accenture, the management consulting services company, has opened a cyber  security centre here on Thursday, that will help the firm expand its global security presence.

“Many organisations are playing a constant game of catch up when it comes to cyber defence, struggling to manage a fragmented security environment,” said Bill Phelps, MD and Security Head, Accenture Operations. Accenture is also launching its new Cyber Defense Platform, a cloud-based security platform to quickly and affordably industrialise and scale a 24/7 managed security capability. “The new centre will be a hub for continuous, collaborative innovation. Together we can replace vulnerability with capability,” added Phelp.

The new facility brings together interdisciplinary capabilities, like innovation, incubation and development of solutions to strategic consulting and transformation, and the managed delivery of a broad range of cyber defense services.
