NEW DELHI: TV18 Broadcast Ltd, a Reliance Industries group company, today reported a 13.57 per cent decline in net profit at Rs 82.51 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 95.47 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
Total income from operations during the quarter, however, grew by 6.60 per cent to Rs 671.33 crore compared with Rs 629.74 crore in the year-ago period.
For fiscal 2015-16, TV18 Broadcast had a consolidated profit of Rs 181.01 crore. It had reported a profit of Rs 44.53 crore in the previous fiscal.
Total consolidated income from operation during the year stood at Rs 2,568.96 crore. It was Rs 2,318.39 crore in financial year 2014-15.
Stock of TV18 Broadcast today closed 7.04 per cent higher at Rs 39.55 on BSE.
