The five non-BJP-ruled states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and West Bengal were among the top 10 in the states in the number of electronic transactions for various services offered by state governments since the beginning of 2017, according to the data on Electronic Transaction Aggregation and Analysis layer, or e-Taal platform.
Gujarat led the list, while Lakshadweep recorded the highest number of 20,756. e-transactions per 1,000 population. Karnataka recorded the lowest number of e-transactions in South India.
