Meanwhile, awareness about natural products based on Ayurvedic, organic and other ingredients is rising and people prefer hair oils with these ingredients. Vatika already has a presence in this segment and we want to further strengthen our presence in this segment with this new product,” said Rajat Nanda, Marketing Head, Dabur India after launching the new product. Pegging organised hair oil segment at H10,000 crore, Rajat Nanda further said Dabur is growing above the industry growth rate which is in single digits.

“There are also several products like conditioners which are coming up as alternatives for hair oil, but hair oil segment continue to hold its importance in India. In spite of several lifestyle changes, people want hair oil to provide solutions to hair problems rather just maintain hair. Therefore both industry and we will continue growing,” added Rajat Nanda.
