Avon launches jewellery collection
BANGALORE: The Grand Ballroom at The Leela Palace Kempinski was packed with jewellery lovers and enthusiastic jewellery sales representatives, as beauty and skincare brand Avon launched its first ever international jewellery collection in India.
The collection is of both contemporary and classic Indian design, making it a collection that offers affordable luxurious jewellery for women of all ages. The collection is designed by the award winning designers Shaill Jhaveri and Lisa Pak, and is made of metal and gold platings, as well as high grade cubic Zircon stones and Rhinestones.
The fashion show was introduced by the managing director of Avon Beauty Products Hemant Singh and the head of marketing Swati Soli Pal. “This collection is high quality affordable jewellery that suits every woman. All women love to wear and collect jewellery, to many it’s like a second skin. I can’t see anybody who isn’t wearing jewellery in the audience today,” said Pal during the fashion show.
The jewellery line is divided into four different collections. The Page collection, a contemporary young and sexy collection. The Style Diva, a collection full of statement necklaces for women who live life on their own terms. The Golden Goddess, an elegant and sophisticated design with a modern twist to old craftsmanship. And last but not least the Glitterati collection, the look of the season and the showstopper of the evening.
The jewellery was seen worn by well-known models like Candice Pinto, Bhavna Priya Nayak, Jackie Shetty and Pashmeena Barker among others. Pinto was wearing the Glitterati collection Dare to Dazzle. “I love this jewellery because I can wear it with both Western and Indian attires, and with its reasonable price I can wear it whenever I go out without being scared of losing it,” said Pinto. Nayak was seen wearing pieces from the Golden Goddess collection. She said, “This is a piece of jewellery that I would wear with more traditional Indian outfits like a saree, making it the perfect jewellery to wear for Diwali,” said Nayak.
The collection is in the price range of Rs 349 to Rs 1,999, and will be available through Avon sales representatives.
