BANGALORE: The traffic diversion on Ali Asker Road was lifted on Wednesday.

The diversion, which was not intimated to commuters in any way, had left residents of the area and commuters furious.

New traffic diversions and parking arrangements have now been made. They will come into effect from July 1.

Cubbon park traffic limits: Parking facility has been removed on east side of the road between Coffee Day junction and House No. 12, and Lavelle junction and House No.

12 in the north. Parking space has been provided on the opposite side.

Sampige Road: Parking has been banned on the left between Rajiv Gandhi Circle and Sampige Theatre Junction, and on the right between Rajiv Gandhi Circle and Krishna Bhavan cross road junction. Parking has been provided in front of the Office of Joint Commissioner, BBMP, from South Central Road junction to Krishna Bhavan cross road.

South Central Road: There is parking space between Sampige Road junction and Siroor Park road junction with exception of a 30-feet space in front of the BBMP office and corporators’ offices. Parking between Sampige Road junction and Siroor Park junction has been provided for office workers.
