BANGALORE: Regular power cuts and load shedding is not new to the people of Bangalore. However, the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited  (BESCOM ) has taken proper initiative to make prior announcement so that public can cooperate with the authority.

They are announcing power shut down on April 6  between 11 am and 5 pm on in order to carry out maintenance work on areas feeding from 66/11KV  Mahalakshmi Layout MUSS.

The areas to experience power cut are: Indiranagar Slum, 1st, 2nd Stage Manjunathnagar. Sethy Layout, Shivanahalli, Bhovi Colony, 1st, 2nd stage, 3rd block, 3rd stage Basaveshvaranagar, Thimmaiah Road, Mahaganapathi Nagar and surrounding areas.

BESCOM officials have requested the consumers to cooperate and power will be available as soon as the work is completed.
