BANGALORE: A delegation led by Vice-President of Zimbabwe, Joyce Mujuru, visited Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT), Bangalore on Wednesday.

The delegation comprised 45 members including two ministers as well as the Ambassador of Zimbabwe in India.

The delegation was received by HMT chairman and managing director S G Sridhar, S Girish Kumar, MDI and his team from Hindustan Machine Tools (International) Limited.

The Ambassador of Zimbabwe in India also impressed upon the necessity of HMT’s efforts for continued business relations with Zimbabwe.

Later, the delegation visited the Hindustan Machine Tools Complex in Jalahalli.

Hindustan Machine Tools (International) Limited, a subsidiary of HMT Limited, is currently implementing a `22.5-crore project in Zimbabwe for development of small and medium enterprise sector in Zimbabwe.
