BANGALORE: It was a comedy of errors when a Malaysia Airlines flight which took off from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur landed back in the city after almost four hours, as the airlines complained of bad visibility and a technical snag.

The flight that took off from the Bangalore International Airport (BIA) at 12.30 am on Saturday landed back in Bangalore at 4.30 am on Sunday.

Over 151 passengers who were on board flight MH- 193D (from Bangalore to Kuala Lumpur) complained that they were not intimated about any technical snag and that all the announcements aboard the flight were made in the local Malaysian language.

“We had no idea what was happening.

Since it was late, most of us were asleep.

All the announcements were being made in a different language and then at around 4 am, there was an announcement in English that we were landing back in Bangalore,” said one of the passengers.

The crew and the customer support faced the wrath of passengers.

The passengers who were stranded at the airport till 9 am on Sunday further complained that the customer care and helpline desk treated the passengers badly when they sought for an explanation.

At 9 am, the airlines finally took the passengers into a nearby hotel, till the arrival of the rescheduled flight.
