BANGALORE: The BBMP and the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), seem to be confronting each other again.

Sources said a garbage vehicle that was going to Bommanahalli dumping yard from Chinnaswamy Stadium was stopped by the Palike staff.

“When the vehicle was stopped near Talaghattapura, we questioned the driver and he revealed that the lorry was carrying garbage from Chinnaswamy Stadium, but had a BBMP sticker on it, illegally. So we held the vehicle back,” an official said.

Earlier BBMP councillors had demanded 450 free passes for IPL matches, which the KSCA had rejected.

The BBMP later had refused to clear the garbage piled up in the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
