BANGALORE: Four miscreants allegedly robbed an employee of a private company at EWS Quarters in Adugodi Police Station limits on Monday.
The victim, identified as Abdul Irfan is a resident of Koramangala.
According to police, the incident took place at around 4.30 am when he was returning home after finishing his night shift.
Four unidentified persons suddenly attacked him and robbed him of `5,000 cash and his mobile phone. He was beaten and sustained injuries on his head and both the legs.
Irfan, was shifted to a nearby hospital by a passer-by. A case has been registered at Adugodi Police Station limits. The police suspect that his friends may be behind the incident and are on a look out for the miscreants.
