BANGALORE: A 26-year-old woman died after delivering a baby boy due to excess bleeding and post-delivery complications at a playground in Kamalanagar on Sunday.
The deceased Poornima, a resident of Kamalanagar, was married to Mohan, a carpenter. According to an eye witness, the woman was sitting in front a shop at around 9 am and later walked towards a playground. After a while, people saw her carrying the new-born in her hands and walking towards the park. A priest noticed blood stains on Poornima’s clothes and called out for women in the neighbourhood. Locals informed 108 ambulance and she was shifted to Vani Vilas Hospital. However, she died on the way to the hospital.
