BANGALORE: An American company for tax services, H and R Block, has now set up the Indian headquarters in Pune and two retail-cum-corporate offices in Bangalore.
Exploring a huge potential in India, the company has launched a new category of business that specialises in providing professional tax filing services in the country. The offices in Bangalore are situated in M G road and in the residential hub of Koramangala.
The services include income tax filing for salaried, self employed individuals and even SMBs, tax planning with year round expert advice, record keeping for future reference, review of previous years taxes and scrutiny support.
“People in India file their taxes in the last minute. We are going to help them plan taxes better. We will treat our clients like a family. It is only after the client is satisfied with the planning will we move ahead with it,” said Rohan Parikh, managing director of H and R Block, India.
He mentioned that the robust tax structure, increasing rate of tax payers, the economic progression and industrialisation were the factors that attracted them to set up in India. Bangalore being the IT hub and Pune having a good market for tax services were the main reasons they decided to place themselves in these cities.
“The reason why people will use it here is because the company is the tax adviser and because of the convenient and stress free income tax preparation. We are now involved in direct taxes and will soon introduce indirect taxes as well,” he added while speaking about the company’s projects.
The formal inauguration will take place on the April 28 in Mittal Towers.
