BANGALORE: Siemens VAI Metals Technologies has received an order from BMM Ispat, an Indian steel company to supply a merchant bar mill for its Hospet production location.
The order volume ranges in the lower double-digit millions of Euros. Commissioning of this rolling mill with an annual capacity of 850,000 metric tonnes of merchant bar steel products is scheduled for the end of 2013. The project will be realised jointly by Siemens Metals Technologies Italy and Morgan Construction Company India Pvt. Ltd. (a Siemens VAI Business).
