The CCB police arrested N Basavaraju, 58, a realtor and two others— R Girish Kumar, 33, and Jayamani, 42—for trying to sell a property worth `3 crore by creating fake documents. They got copies of the documents of a property, which belonged to an NRI, at Tavarekere in BTM Layout under the RTI Act. They created a fake document to make it look like Jayamani’s mother was the GPA holder. “The trio also created a fake sale deed and was trying to sell the same,” police said.
