A gang of seven men set a lorry loaded with fish on fire at Russell Market in Shivajiangar on Friday. The lorry that had come from Mangalore was destroyed in the fire. Local fish traders including the lorry driver and cleaner were thrashed by the gang. Police said Pappu alias Amir Khan, son of notorious history-sheeter Koli Fayaz, and his aides were suspected to have a role in the incident, which took place around 4 am.
