Sudhamanagar Ward BBMP Corporator Kumari Avvayi was granted conditional bail by the Lokayukta Special Court on Saturday.
Judge N K Sudhindra Rao ordered her to be present before the investigating officer every Monday and told her not to leave the city until further orders.
The counsel for the accused sought bail on the grounds that she was a woman and she was suffering from Glaucoma.
The Lokayukta Special Public Prosecutor (SPP) on Friday had told the court that there was a threat to the life of the complainant in the case.
Avvayi was caught by the Lokayukta Police on Tuesday while taking a bribe of `15,000 from Channegowda, who runs a small hotel in Kalasipalyam, without a licence.
