BANGALORE: The sleuths of the Fraud and Misappropriation squad of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested three persons for allegedly selling fake ink jet cartridges and toners of HP brand. The police recovered 38 fake branded cartridges and 84 toners, and a mobile phone, all worth `6 lakh from the accused.
The arrested persons are identified as Nadeem Pasha, 36, Rehman Sheriff, 32, and Chetan Singh, 26.
Police said that the accused were selling fake cartridges at a shop in Goripalya and at Hitesh Stationery World shop located in KSLECA Complex on Avenue Road.
Cases have been registered against the accused in Halasur Gate and J J Nagar police stations.
