BELGAUM: Noted theatre personality Yenagi Balappa, 98, on Tuesday was admitted to the Jayadeva Hospital, Bangalore, after he developed some heart trouble, where he is recovering.
Balappa’s son Subhash Yenagi told Express that his father developed a neurological complication, following which he was admitted to a hospital run by Dr Prashant Kadkol in Bijapur.
However, Dr Kadkol advised Balappa to get admitted to Jayadeva Hospital as he suspected a complication in the heart. Doctors at the Bangalore hospital, however, said that they will decide whether whether Balappa needs a pacemaker or not after a examination.
Balappa, who spoke to Express said that although he was feeling weak, and that he is doing good.
