BANGALORE: Young Bankers programme is an endeavour by Axis Bank in association with Manipal Global Education to impart domain expertise and banking skill sets to candidates, who are interested in pursuing a career in banking. The course has been set up to attract bright young graduates to a career in banking. The objective is to create a talent pool of young bankers by equipping graduate students with necessary banking knowledge and general management skills. These students will be put through a training which emphasises on application of knowledge and overall development of personality.
On completion of the programme, the students will be awarded a post graduate diploma in banking services by Manipal University and will also be absorbed in assistant manager grade in Axis Bank. The candidates will also have an option to pursue an online UGC approved master’s degree programme in Banking and Finance through Manipal University, which can be completed by candidates within 18 months’ time in online instruction mode.
The programme also ensures that the candidates have a guarantee of an employment in the bank.
