BANGALORE: Two persons ended lives in separate incidents in the city. In K P Agrahara police station limits, Radha, 31, unable to bear the alleged dowry harassment, ended her life by consuming poison at her mother’s residence in Magadi. She was married to Srinivas, a goldsmith.  The police said Srinivas allegedly harassed Radha to bring dowry and she had returned to her mother’s residence, a few days ago.

On Saturday night, she consumed poison and was taken to a private hospital in Vijayanagar. She succumbed in the wee hours of Monday.

In the other incident, Munisidde Gowda, 35, a security guard at an apartment, committed suicide by hanging at his house near Konanakunte Cross on Sunday. He was married and had two children. The family hailed from Kanakapura. The reason is yet to be ascertained. Subramanyapura police registered a case.
