BANGALORE: With regards to “Pulse Polio Programme” to be held on February 19 and April 1 under Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike, a cycle rally was organised.The programme was flagged off by Mayor Sharadamma. Around 60 cyclist left Madavan park around 8 am into various parts of Bangalore like Basavanagudi,Chamarajpet and Market etc spreading the awareness about “Pulse Polio Prpgramme” across the city. BBMP is going to establish 2000 Polio booths across the city to immunise 7 lakhs children(less than 5 years) with 8900 volunteers participation. Polio booths are being put at Bus Stand Railway Station and Malls.
