BANGALORE: A 12-year-old male sloth bear died at Bannergatta Biological Park (BBP), according to a press release from the park.
The sloth bear, Rahul, was housed in SOS (a serving NGO) since 2006 after it was rescued from Kalandars.
“The visceral mass has been exposed for clinical examination to ascertain the cause of the death,” Dr R Raju, Executive Director, Bannerghatta Biological Park, stated in the press release.
