BANGALORE: A 34-year old man, who was upset about his wife’s death committed suicide by hanging at his residence, near Bannerghatta road on Sunday morning. The deceased has been identified as Kiran, a resident of BDA Layout.
Police said that a few days ago Kiran’s wife died during delivery in a private hospital. In a state of depression he committed suicide. He had a 5-year old child and he was staying with his family at BDA Layout since ten years. His father found Kiran’s body and informed the police. A case has been registered at Tilaknagar Police station.
Drunk Man Dies on Footpath
A 34-year old man, in a drunken state, died after falling on a foot-path at the bus stop, near Dairy Circle on Sunday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Raghu, a resident of Wilson Garden. He was working as an attender in BBMP.
The police said that the incident was reported around 8.30 pm when Raghu, in an inebriated state, fell on the foot-path and sustained serious injuries on his head.
