BANGALORE: A 22-year-old MBA student, who was riding pillion with her lover died on the spot after a local bus from Tamil Nadu rammed into their bike on Hosur Road on Sunday. The deceased, Veenitha Kureel, was a native of Delhi, and Aman, also a student of MBA course was seriously injured in the incident. Police said that the accident took place when Aman, and Veenitha were returning home. The bus, which was going towards Hosur Road rammed into the bike and ran over her head and injured Aman. Both were students of SIBS.

Youth Drowns

A19-year-old student drowned in Gulukamale Lake near Talaghattapura around 1.30 pm on Monday. The student has been identified as Sandeep  Singh, a native of Assam.
