BANGALORE: Peenya police arrested four persons for allegedly killing three of their associates over a financial dispute. They were also involved in robbery and flesh trade cases, the police said. The arrested have been identified as Parameshagowda alias Girish, 28,  N K Umesh alias Jogi,  23,  Mahesh alias Toli, 23, and C Nagesh alias Umesh, 23.

The accused were planning to rob public at Shettyhalli Lake, near Peenya, the police stated.

During investigation they revealed that they were involved in prostitution. They used to bring girls from other states and rob the customers.

Recently, a financial dispute created ill-will among them and they killed three of their associates - Rajesh, 26,  Madhu, 28, and Raju, 22, police said. They tried to throw the bodies into Hemavathi canal near Channarayapatna, the police explained.

The accused hail from Tumkur and Hassan districts. They were allegedly involved in criminal activities to lead a luxurious life.  They had discontinued their education after school, police added. A car, weapons, a heater wire and knives have been recovered from the accused. Peenya police are investigating the case further.
