Sanatani aka Sana is back on the big screen after a year with her recent flick Nam Anna Don. Sana who is well known for her signature smile, took a long break Crazy Kutumba. She has been hosting a cookery show on small screen and also experimenting

with a wide varieties of recipes. In a candid conversation with City Express, the actress shared her experience working with Ramesh Aravind and Mona Parvesh in her latest film. Since she has already acted with Ramesh Aravind in Crazy Kutumba (2010), she said it was much easier to interact with the actor-director. Recalling her experiences, she expressed, “I was too scared in the beginning. I thought that Ramesh would lose his temper easily. But to my surprise he treated everyone on set with a lot of care and affection.” When asked about coming back to the big screen, she said, “It was not very difficult for me to get back to films after two years after the cookery show as Crazy Kutumba, the cookery show and Nam Anna Don were shot under the same banner — Luvkush productions. I was a

part of the family.”

Recalling the days of hosting the cookery show she said that she had also got an opportunity to work in the project NAD while working for small screen, and she grabbed it. Sana who plays the role of the nurse in the film who is mostly personal assistant to the cardiologist (Ramesh) said her role was not cliched unlike other films. Speaking about her role, she said “The character is simple and throughout the film I sport only the nurse outfit.” The actress appreciated her co-star Mona Perveresh and shared her memorable experiences with the debutante, who made the crew listen to some Iranian songs.  “She has done complete justice to her role. She is vibrant both on and off screen, ” Sana signed off.
