BANGALORE: Siddapur police arrested three persons, who allegedly kidnapped two students from Tavarekere recently.
They allegedly kidnapped Ayaz Pasha and Syed Yusuf, both 22, from Venkateshwara College.
The accused have been identified as Muniratna, 28, a resident of Madiwala, Kumar, 27, and Ganesh, 28.
The police said, “The accused had kidnapped the students near their college and called Irshad Pasha, the elder brother of Ayaz and threatened to kill them if they didn’t pay `1 lakh ransom.
Siddapur police rescued the two students and seized weapons from the accused.
