National Art Exhibition Takes Off

BANGALORE: Inaugurating a national art exhibition on Saturday, Chiranjivi Singh, retired Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka, appreciated the initiative of College of Fine Arts

BANGALORE: Inaugurating a national art exhibition on Saturday, Chiranjivi Singh, retired Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka, appreciated the initiative of College of Fine Arts, Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath.

He said, “This kind of national level art workshop is being organised after a gap of almost 12 years. All the innovative methods of painting, sculptors are rarely seen.” Present on the occasion, MK Shankarlinge Gowda, BBMP Commissioner also assured government’s support to the Parishath.

Around 58 artists from Kashmir, Orissa, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kerela and Maharashtra exhibited their works of art which they had created during the workshop. The expo will be on till Jan 7.
