BANGALORE: Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike Commissioner M K Shankarlinge Gowda has instructed officials to conduct a zonal level survey to find out the exact construction space of technology and business parks in the city.
Yediyur Councillor N R Ramesh, at a recent Council meeting, had brought the issue to the notice of the Commissioner that BBMP officials have not calculated number of tech and business parks.
He had also told him that tax is not collected based on the actual construction space of these parks.
Acting to his queries, BBMP seems to have come out with an idea of undertaking a survey. According to a BBMP release, the Commissioner has instructed officials to conduct survey at zonal levels. He also instructed Additional Director (Town Planning ) to give verified the details of tax paid according to the construction space and give those details to Deputy Commissioner (Revenue).
