BANGALORE: Standing Committee for Health of Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) visited sweet making units on Tuesday and warned them for keeping it in unhygienic conditions.
A press release from BBMP stated that Committee members first visited Kanti sweets in Rajajinagar industrial town and told the owners to provide gloves and apron to the staff who are into making sweets. Committee also told the owner to provide employee insurance. This initiative was taken in order to provide hygienic sweets to the public.
Later Committee visited Seetha Ice Creams Private Limited unit. Committee found that the colour and flavour used by them was expired. This can have a direct affect on health when consumed. Members warned the owner.
