BANGALORE: ‘A Conversation with George Soros’, is organised by Azim Premji University Public Lecture Series, to encourage public discourse and dialogue on education and development at 3 pm on January 9, 2012 at St. John’s Auditorium, Koramangala. George Soros, Philanthropist and Anurag Behar, Vice Chancellor of Azim Premji University will address the gathering at the event.
At the event George Soros, will present his views of the implication of current state of the world economy and on current policy responses to the ongoing US and European financial crises. He will also give his opinion about the role of Asia, and particularly India, in the future of the global financial system. He will also attempt elaborate on his current philanthropic efforts aimed to helping refocus the field of economics to face the challenges of the coming century.
