BANGALORE: The State government stated in the High Court on Monday that there is no manual scavenging in the State and added that the rehabilitation of Bhangi community members at Savanur in Haveri district has been set in motion. In an affidavit, the government has also added that the hoary practice of carrying night soil has been ended.
