BANGALORE: CSC, in city announced the inauguration of its 18th delivery center in India, and the second in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The opening expands CSC’s footprint in the country and further enables the company to offer services to its customers across the globe. The new state-of-the-art facility is equipped with infrastructure, network, and connectivity and will offer IT services to some of the largest insurance companies in the world. It will have a seating capacity of approximately 300, while the existing facility at Indore employs around 700 professionals.
Announcing the expansion plan, Brian Manning, president and managing director, CSC India, said, “Indore is a strategic location for us and we are happy to launch yet another facility here. This new facility will further strengthen the presence in the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh and generate new opportunities for professionals. With this new delivery centre, we will continue to offer best-in-class, innovative services that we have been delivering out of the India market”.
This announcement has built up CSC’s global acquisitions of iSoft, providers of advanced healthcare IT solutions, and AppLabs, a pure-play software testing and quality management services provider.
CSC’s India operations are the company’s second largest globally, with a team of over 23,000 professionals across its development and delivery centres in seven locations in Noida, Indore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Vadodara.
CSC offers IT services like cloud computing, cyber security, mobility, applications and infrastructure management, to business and technology consulting, systems integration and industry-specific solutions.
