BANGALORE: The Karnataka Legislature Housing Cooperative Society in a press conference  sought to correct facts about transactions made by them.

Stating that no funds had been misused by the society, the representatives stated that all their financial transactions were transparent .The society quashed claims of an alleged misappropriation of `52.47 crore and stated that these were malicious claims being made by KS Ganesh and Pattubalareddi.

The society also sought to clarify that out of 145 strong membership, 130 members were already allotted sites and their names were registered in Vidhan Soudha layout I and II. In 2004, the society had deposited `52.74 crore with Surya developers in terms of 36 installments in return for which 44 acres of land was alloted to them at the lowest rate to cater to the social objectives of the society of providing sites for deserving members.
