Radhika Kumaraswamy, made her debut in Sandalwood with the film Neela Megha Shyama more than a decade ago. She has now ventured into production with film Lucky staring

Expressing happiness over the successful completion of the shooting for the film, Lucky, Radhika said that she was happy with the film and wanted to produce more and more films which have good and interesting scripts. “I want to make more films and do not want to stick to one film a year norm,”
revealed Radhika.
When asked about her ambition of entering into politics, Radhika said that she is too young to think about politics. (It may be recalled that Nikhil Kumaraswamy had also expressed the similar opinion while interacting with selective leaders of Yuva Janata Dal, the youth wing of Janata Dal (S) recently). Many are of the opinion that the next Assembly polls will be interesting as more cinema artistes are expected to canvass for major
political parties.
However, Radhika has said that she never expected to become a producer. She added, “As far as politics is concerned, I am too young to make a debut in this field. However, I will not hesitate to enter politics, if need be.”
The actress-cum-producer has said that she was not aware of Pooja Gandhi joining the Janata Dal (S). When asked whether Pooja Gandhi was matured enough to join the Janata Dal (S), she said, “I do not know much about Pooja Gandhi. It will be unfair on my part to comment on Pooja Gandhi.”
She said that she has plans to release her upcoming film Eswar by venturing into the distribution sector as well. “I have discussed about the plans with producer Shankar Gowda. I want to release that film shortly,” said Radhika. She added that she wants to complete her Telugu assignment as early as possible.
Will Radhika remain as producer or wants to act in films? “I have no such restrictions. I think that there will be no issues to act in the films provided with a good script. I am open not only to produce films but also to accept acting assignments,” she said.
