Gargi Huttenes Albertus Green Foundry of the Year Award was constituted by Institute of Indian Foundryment was awarded to CRI Valves-Steel Castings for the year 2011 recently.
R Janarthanan, Manager for Marketing received the award during the inauguration of the 60th Indian Foundry Congress in the city.
The award was presented to recognise the organisation’s endeavour in waste treatment and disposal, eco-friendly packaging and recycling, use of alternate energy resource, health, welfare and safety measures adopted to the employees among others.
Foundryman of the year award was awarded to D Rudhramurthy for his contribution to process improvement, use of new technology, quality improvement and energy saving among others.
