BANGALORE: On the pretext of enquiring about an address, two unidentified miscreants snatched a gold chain worth Rs 80,000 from a 57-year-old woman on Thursday. The victim Prasanna Parvathi, is a resident of Shankarapuram.

According to police, at about 5.45 am, when Parvathi was drawing rangoli in front of house, two unidentified miscreants approached her in a two-wheeler on the pretext  of enquiring about an address and snatched the victim’s chain. Shankarpuram police registered a case.

In another incident, two unidentified bike-borne miscreants snatched chain from a resident of Kumarswamy Layout. The victim Lakshmi was on her way to a temple at Teachers Colony in Kadirenahalli.
