BANGALORE: The man who helped the Lokayukta police to nab KGF BJP MLA Y Sampangi while accepting a bribe, Hussain M Farooq, filed an affidavit in the Lokayukta Court on Monday requesting the cancellation of the MLA’s bail appeal.
Lokayukta police trapped Sampangi after permission from former Assembly Speaker Jagadish Shettar.
Farooq had recently alleged that he had received life threats from Sampangi.
