CAT Order: Bidari Takes Legal Route

BANGALORE: DG&IGP Shankar M Bidari has filed an appeal before the Karnataka High Court challenging the order of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) which quashed his appointment as DG&IGP and directed the state to appoint DGP of Fire and Emergency Services A R Infant ad hoc in his place.

The government also filed an appeal challenging the CAT order.

Hearing the petition on March 20, the court had ordered status quo till March 30.

It adjourned the hearing to March 28 and Bidari’s appeal may come for hearing on the same day.
