BANGALORE: Bangalore-based NIIT Technologies Limited (NSE: NIITTECH), an IT solutions organisation, announced the successful implementation of an automated Content Management and Delivery system at Singapore Parliament. The recording system enables the recording and archiving of parliament proceedings. Singapore Parliament is first to implement Content Management and Delivery system in Asia.

The recording system brings sophisticated publishing capabilities in-house for Singapore Parliament. It provides useful features at a touch of a button like, fast batch pagination with manual control and produce high quality content under tight timelines.

Speaking on the successful implementation, Gunalan Kamalanathan, project manager of the Singapore Parliament reporting system said, “The users of this system are the staff from the official reports or Hansard department of Singapore Parliament. The staff spent long hours, sometimes stretching late into the night, to transcribe and record every word spoken in the parliament chamber. With the new system, the transcription and reporting process is speedier and more accurate, altogether less painful.”
