Buela M Sam, a 44-year-old woman who had gained into the high security ISRO headquarters using a fake ID card on September 21 and was subsequently arrested, has confessed that she had obtained the fake identity card from Ahmedabad nine months ago, sources said.
Earlier, she had claimed that she had got the card from a studio at Punalur in Kerala. However, she has now changed her statement. A source said that she has told the police about getting the card from Ahmedabad and only got it laminated in Punalur.
“She has made a statement that she was working at a pharmacy of Nataraj in Ahmedabad and had left for Kerala to attend last rites of her father. There she had met one Anthony Thomas and he informed her that ISRO was hiring pharmacy graduates and asked her to go there,” the source said.
