Two rowdies were shot dead in Nelamangala in an extortion bid. DySP Ramalingappa and Circle Inspector Vinod Bhat rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.
Even media persons were not allowed to go near the farm house. Later, IGP (Central Range) Amar Kumar Pandey and Ramanagaram SP Anupam Agrawal visited the spot.
Siddaraju was involved in several cases, including the attack on historysheeter Bande Manja, an associate of slain rowdy Bethannagere Seena, in 2008. He was in the rowdy list maintained by the Nelamangala police.
