Valliammal honours its founder

Valliammal College for Women in association with Sahitya Akademi conducted a one-day symposium on the writings of the founder of the institute, A M Paramasivandam recently. Chairman A P Maikandan, academic advisor Dr S Valavan, principal Dr T V S Padmaja, secretary of Sahithya Akademi N C Mahesh, convener of Sahithya Akademi Sirpi Balasubramaniam and members like Rama Gurunathan Indiran, R Mohan and N Avudaiappan were actively involved in coordinating and conducting the event. The programme discussed various bodies of Paramasivandam’s literature like religious works, prose works, autobiographical works, historical works and folk literature.
