AP welcomes Karnataka tourists

The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation conducted a road show in the city to promote tourism in their state on Friday.

In an effort to boost tourism revenue generated from neighbouring states, the AP tourism Corporation promoted their landscapes, heritage, archaeology, wildlife and eco-tourism.

“People in Karnataka are known for their inclination towards leisure. That is why the state has emerged as an important market for the tourism industry and now it is on the radar of Andhra Pradesh. With this road-show, we also look forward to have tie-ups with tour operators in the state,” explained Chandana Khan, Chairperson and MD, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation.

The board also promoted their new tour packages to places like Visakapatnam, Amaravathi, Nagarajunakonda, Araku Valley, Thotlakonda, Bavikonda, Anantagiri and Horsely Hills.
