Police arrest five for murder

 The Srirampuram police arrested five people in connection with a the murder of a reformed rowdy.  The incident was reported in Ramachandrapura near Trishul Bar. The victim, Dileep alias Dileep Kumar, was a reformed history-sheeter.

 He used to reside in Gouthamnagar in Srirampuram. Dileep was hacked to death in broad day light a week ago.  The accused are identified as Satish, 24, Suresh, 27, Ganesh, 28, Raju, 26, and Parashuram, 30.  The accused had been absconding after the incident.

 Police said they had taken shelter at a lodge in Tamil Nadu. Investigations revealed that the main accused Suresh, had hatched the plot to eliminate Dileep, as the latter had threatened him. According to police, on learning that his life was under threat, Suresh decided to kill Dileep.

 On Firday morning, Suresh and his aides took Dileep to a party. They allegedly made him consume excessive alcohol and hacked him to death with lethal weapons.
