In pursuit of happiness

He submitted himself totally to Krishna but never expected anything in return. Devotion is also offering oneself totally to God. Only such a person can solicit the grace of God.

His complete surrender became his devotion. Such a man surely deserved the total blessings of God. This life, Satsang, Yoga as well as company is fruits procured by ones good deeds. It is a matter of divine intervention. By using it for evil ends, even goodwill earned through good deeds may lead to accumulation of Karma. Both good deeds as well as the man who performs them are equal to God.

Introspection: Self introspection through all dimensions is real sadhana. I am sharing a few points with seekers about my investigations and research, exploring all my absurdities and contradictions and consolidating the mind in the process. Introspect yourself with me.

I define my mind as the memories of the pleasant and the unpleasant. The pleasant memories are the cause for my desires, and the unpleasant memories are the cause for my fears. The unfilfilled desires and the unknown fears are blockages in the mind that has created a static feeling in me. This has manifested as my personality of fresh desires and fears, with a body as a bundle of habits and projecting mind as a bundle of memories.

The root has grown so deep, that it has reached the core of my being and this repeated tendency has become my character. It is not easy to root it out by knowing it intellectually, or analyzing it, or by brooding or thinking over it, as i am a byproduct of millions of life. My personality is nothing but the body and the mind.

The only way to get rid of it is to use my pure intelligence, a wisdom that is dormant in the intellect. This pure intelligence is more subtle and powerful and can control the two enclaves of superficial body and the peripheral mind that constitutes personality.

Because of this gift of intelligence, I am a human being with all the inherent divine Satwik Qualities, not an animal. But I can think I can discriminate; I can understand, discover and realize the cause of the birth of the body, and its degeneration and recreation through intellect. After repeatedly perceiving the weakness and crooked nature of the body and mind, what is it that stops me from transcending it.

The intellectual enlightenment about the body is so superficial and borderline that just by thinking about such things relaxes me.

What was never lost can never be found: Your very search for joy or happiness and security keeps you away from them. The disease is simple and remedy is equally simple, it is our mind that makes us insecure and unhappy. When we stop misusing the mind all will be well. As nobody, as nothing we are safe and happy. If we are somebody, we are insecure and unhappy.

The peripheral mind in which we live is so weak, it cannot grasp the whole, its focus is very narrow. It sees only the fragments and fails to perceive a big picture. When we use the peripheral mind it is the misusing of the mind and then you are only a person.
