It’s every fashionista's go-to dress, the staple of every wardrobe and the foundation of it as well. Fashion designers swear by it and a woman will go to any length to get the perfect one.

This is one cliche that will never lose its importance or value, and will remain the Holy Grail for most designers.

We are talking of course, about the Little Black Dress(LBD). Today, the LBD has seen several design changes but that’s one of the best things about it. Not only is it eternally classic, it's also very versatile, if you needed another reason to love it.

From glamorous evening wear to a grungier, messy look to being worn formally at the office, the LBD has proved repeatedly that it isn’t just a good buy, it is a timeless investment.

Indeed, to remain in style for a long time is an achievement but to be au courant for decades is something only the LBD can do.

Let’s attribute its success wholly to the words of Leonardo Da Vinci ‘Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication’.
