Selfishness is the cause of suffering

The state of being is a supreme state and is universal. We should go to the very root of our being , otherwise we will be in complete ignorance about our self.

The state of being is a supreme state and is universal. We should go to the very root of our being , otherwise we will be in complete ignorance about our self.

Mind dominates only because you are interested in it. Resistance and reaction in the peripheral mind strengthens that ignorant state. By resisting evil and reaction to negativity it strengthens the ignorant state. All delay is waste of time. Skip all the preparation and go directly for ultimate search within, that is self enquiry. This is the simplest and shortest way.

The inner silent mind is not inactive. The silence fills the space; like flower fills the space with fragrance; the candle with light. The candle and flower do nothing, yet they change everything by their mere presence. This very presence is action. First we have to find a strong immovable centre where all movements take birth. Look between thoughts for silence When we fight with a thought we invite a fight. It is mere attitude.

Nothing stops you from being a Gnani. We should let go our mind without going along with it. There is nothing to give up, it is enough if we stop acquiring. The problem is excessive involvement leading to self identification.

Whenever we are engrossed in ourselves, that is reality. Whatever if free, pure, unattached, unadulterated, unalloyed is real. What is dependent, mixed up, tainted is unreal.

Whatever pursues the only pleasant things and shuns the unpleasant is false. What sees pleasure and pain as inseparable is the right vision. When you are enmeshed or entangled in what you perceive you are a person. The witness who stand aloof, unmoved, unattached is the watch tower of the real. Here you must know two things. What are you to be free from and what keeps you bound.

There is no need to be concerned with the universe. It is enough if we know ourselves. For this, we have to change the current of our desire from taking to giving.

The passion for giving, for sharing only pure love will remain beyond giving and receiving. In an ordinary love, there is a lover and a beloved. But Divine Universal love is inseparable. There is a refusal to separate — ‘Samyak Bandha’. When you truly love, there is no need to say “I love you” which is duality.

Relationship in life teaches where all else fails. Commonly, people are quiet satisfied with body pleasure. There is no place for real happiness or Bliss. The cup should be emptied and clean otherwise it cannot be filled.

Worldly objects cannot give supreme experience like Bliss. The pleasure ends with pain. But yoga is seeking lasting happiness within. Regarding sorrow and fear, the problem is universal. But yoga is the science of self-liberation through self understanding. Selfishness is the cause of suffering.

There is no other cause. Always that which cannot change remains, the great peace, deep silence and hidden beauty of reality remains. But these cannot be conveyed through words. It is waiting for you to experience in meditation.
