Ordeal finally ends for school children, parents

In a relief to thousands of children and their parents, the school cab drivers unions on Friday decided to call off their two-day strike after a meeting with Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy. The unions agreed to paint their cabs yellow in keeping with the rules immediately and also agreed to stick to the  seating limit. In return, the government agreed to discuss issues like tax uniformity and age of vehicles.
